Hello Bloggers!!
How was everyone's Thursday! I hope it was as terrific as mine was! Rehearsal was great today! We finally finished one of our productions, Sledgehammer, which is fantastic because now we only have two more hehe! It took us awhile to get Sledgehammer done, but we did it in two weeks! It is a very fun production to 80's music! I am sure that audiences will love it once it hits the stage! I am excited to all of you to see it! Be sure to get your tickets because our spring shows are just as amazing and fun-filled as Thriller!
This was the temple I went to tonight!:)
Well on to my highlight of the day! I GOT TO GO TO THE TEMPLE! Ah it was so nice going into such a peaceful and beautiful place tonight with such a great friend! I went with my friend that I am recently dancing with on Odyssey! His name is Tino Smith and he is a great person! The temple was beautiful! Since Tino lives in Salt Lake and I live in Provo, we decided to meet halfway in Draper! I have never been to Draper and all I can say is HOLY BIG HOUSES! The houses in Draper were ridiculously big! I literally saw a castle on the way up to the temple! I peed my pants and how amazing each house was! I swear the further I went up the mountain the bigger the houses got! But most importantly the temple was breathtaking! It overlooked the valley and the lights were beautiful! If I could live up there just for the view I totally would, but I will pass because all I get in a fuzzy radio and no service on my phone! Definitely worth seeing though! I was stupid and didn't take a picture, but I plan on going again so I will next time! It was so amazing to see the temple light up and look so pure and joyful! I am so blessed to have the opportunity to go to the temple and work for those that didn't have the chance! It makes me feel so much closer to my Heavenly Father! All the stress from the world goes out the door and all that enters is the Spirit and the Lord's presence! I loved going tonight! I am so glad I went! All I can say about the inside is WOW! BREATHTAKING! CLEAN! PURE! SPIRITUAL! ALL IN ONE! I am so happy I went to the temple tonight! Hopefully all of you LDS people can get to the temple! It is so worth the hour! Well I am so content right now that I am going to leave you with a strong testimony of the temple! It is beyond this world! It is so beautiful inside and out! It helps us gros closer to Christ! It helps us help others receive the Gospel thus continuing the LDS faith to grow more and more each day! I love the temple and I cannot wait to enter it with my loving husband someday!:) Have a great Thursday everyone! LOVIN LIFE!

I hope everyone's Wednesday went great! Mine was great just like usual! I had rehearsal once again today and today was sort of a loopy day for me! For some reason everything seemed funny to me! I literally was laughing at everything! Luckily I kept my laugh on the DL so I wouldn't get into trouble with the big guy!:) I had a lot of fun at dance hehe! I was able to witness a almost death situation that happened between some of the company members and Katelyn Crump! Long story short, Katelyn had to jump into a sheet and the other members had to throw her into the air like a parachute, but when we were practicing the sheet ripped right in half causing Katelyn to fall straight to the floor! Thank goodness she is okay, but honestly everyone was laughing their heads off! It was like a fall in slow motion! Katelyn gracefully fell to the floor and the sheet just quickly ripped in two! It was one of the funniest moments of the day at ODT rehearsal! I am still chuckling as I am typing this up! Check out the video on Facebook if you are friends with Katelyn Crump! It was a classic moment! I love these moments at rehearsal! It definitely makes rehearsals more chill and less stressful! I am so happy its like that all the time! Other than the fall, today was just filled with funny comments and outrageously bad dancing in the back corner! It was fun at the opportune moment along with serious focus in ballet class! Today was a perfect day at rehearsal!
I have to say that I am so excited for tomorrow because I finally get to go to the temple! I am going with a former friend from ODT and I am so excited! Since I am not old enough I can only do baptisms right now, but as long as I get to go into the temple and do some good work for the Lord, thats all I care about! I am so happy about getting back into the temple! I haven't been able to go in awhile and I am finally going! Thank Goodness! What a joy it will be to spend some time there! The spirit is so strong and powerful! I get to do work for people who didn't have the opportunity to get it done here on Earth and I am so happy and feel so blessed to be doing it for them! I want everyone to be able to receive the Gospel and the blessings that follow! Its a life worth living for I think! I love the church and it is a true blessing in my life! I cannot wait to go! I will definitely post about it tomorrow!
So lately I have been addicted to Pinterest! It literally is a disease right now! I am obsessed with the amazing crafts that I have been finding lately and I want to try them ALL! They are so cute and fun! I wish I was talented in this area! I wish I could have more experience! I guess this is my time to try new things! Maybe this is a time to try a bunch of different things! Maybe time to get my Bucket List out? I think so! Time to be adventurous and try new things! Have more "umph" and be courageous! Time to be more perspective of things in life? I think so! Time for a change? I THINK SO!

Hello Fellow Bloggers
So I finally started rehearsals at ODT again and all I can say right now is that I am extremely stressed and grateful all at once! Instead of doing one show, we are now trying to get prepared for three shows! This year we are doing Romeo and Juliet, Sledgehammer, and DanceScapes! I am definitely grateful to be doing these shows! I saw DanceScapes and Romeo and Juliet last year and I DIED watching them both! So amazing with such incredible talent to witness from such fantastic people! I still can't believe that I am doing these shows this year! I am very excited to tell you all that I am part of the Montikrew (Montigue) clan! We are known as the "gangsters" of the show! I cannot begin to tell you how hard the Montikrew dance was! It was seriously worse than Thriller and Thriller was beyond stress for me! The choreography is hard musicality wise and the choreography is RIDICULOUS! I mean once I get it it will be a piece of cake, but until then I am practicing and practicing! Its incredible to me that picking up choreography and being able to do it is as hard and frustrating as doing Math (My worse subject ever)! Also I don't know if any of you fellow bloggers know Tadd! He was a recent dancer on So You Think You Can Dance this last season and is a former dancer with Odyssey still today! Well here is the exciting news, he is returning to dance with us in Romeo and Juliet and is going to take his role as Mercutio in the Montikrew clan! WOW! Can I just say how intimidated and excited I am to finally meet this guy! I was and still am a huge fan of him and his outrageous dancing skills! He is an amazing dancer and I cannot wait to meet him! All I can say is how lucky am I? Seriously life could not get any better! I am constantly surrounded by such inspiring people that make me want to work hard and become a better dancer and person! I am in love with it!
Well Christmas is finally approaching and I am so excited! Many memories are going to be born and most importantly I GET TO SEE MY BROTHER! Sadly my older sister and brother-in-law and my two cute little nieces wont be coming up for the holidays, but I still love them deeply! I am beyond excited to see my brother! I miss him so much! He is one of my idols in life! He has been through so much and yet he has still managed to come out on top! He made some bad choices in his past, but he realized his mistakes and now he has chosen a path that I am so proud of! He is such a great person and I am so lucky to have him as a brother! PLUS he has been working out so hard for his bodybuilding competition in February and I cannot wait to see how big he has gotten! Many pictures will be taken for you all to see! But most important it is our time of year to think about our Savior and His birth! This is the time of year to give thanks to our blessings over the last year and to love Him more than ever! This is the time of year to spend time with family and friends and create memories that will last a lifetime! I love Christmas! There is so much love, spirit, and joy in the holiday! I love spending time with my family! It seems that thats all I want to do during Christmas! I cannot wait to go home and see them! Such an amazing holiday to be a part of! Remember to create memories this year! Set new goals and plan to accomplish them! Have hearts of service and love towards those in need this Christmas season! You never know, you may save a life!:)

Went to church and then relaxed for the rest of the day watching movies, watching the Christmas Devotional, and spending quality time writing letters! I have decided that this blog is going to be dedicated to my favorite things! I stole this idea from some recent blogs I have been looking at and I am really interested in doing it!

Movie: Transformers
This movie is so intense! It is filled with robots kicking some major booty, hot soldiers, and of course humor that makes me smile and laugh! This show will never get old with me and I have seen it to this day a total of 44 times! I am not kidding! I have counted! It is so action-packed and awesome and fantastic in every way!
TV Show: Law And Order SVU

I dont know why I am so attached to this show, but I cannot get enough! I love this show not because of the sex, but because it has true stories that happen in this everyday life! Things like this actually happen and it definitely helps me to be more aware of my surroundings!
Color: Purple Or Red
I am in love with these colors! They are bright, fun, and I have alot of clothes in these two colors! They are exciting to work with!
Holiday: Christmas
I love this holiday! It is such a special time of year for us to reflect on the birth of Christ! It gives us time to spend with family and friends! It gives us time to have make new goals for the upcoming year! We are blessed to have this holiday to celebrate each year!
Pet: Yorkie
Even though these dogs can be obnoxious and annoying, they are so dang cute and fun to play with! I plan on getting one once I have the opportunity! I want one of these so badly! I hope I can get one very very soon!
Place: Paris
Even though I have never been here I plan on going here someday! It is on my Bucket List and it will happen someday! It is a dream of mine! I want to see this beautiful city!
Vacation: Beach
Honestly you doesnt love the beach! I love everytime I get to go! So relaxing and fun and sunny! Definitely my kind of soother and stress reliever!
Restaurant: Zupas
This restaurant is so much fun to go to! I dont have a specific favorite thing because I get something different everytime I go! So fresh and yummy!

So I am so excited about today because it means that I am going home TOMORROW! Ah I am so thrilled to be going home to see my family! I miss them like crazy and I cannot wait to spend time with them! Last time I was home, I was only home for about four days which is obviously not enough time! Plus I get to see my extended family which is an extra bonus! And of course its the holiday season, which is fantastic! It is definitel going to be a great week and weekend! I am so happy about this next week!
Today I am so thankful for having the opportunity and ability to teach! I am currently teaching at The Pointe and am subbing at Center Stage! I thought at first that I would not like teaching, but the more I do it, the more I begin to love it! The girls I teach are so hard working and so dedicated that it makes it easy to be able to come to "work" everyday! They have the best personalities! They make me smile and laugh and its just so much fun to teach them! I love being able to witness my students growing as artists all because of my teaching! It is such an inspiration to me to continue teaching and bringing my knowledge to the class because it makes me grow as a person and dancer as well! I still have a lot to learn, but that comes with a lot of practice and of course patience! I love teaching and I love being a part of a family of girls who are growing in so many ways! I love being there to push them to their limits and telling them that they have potential to be great dancers! I am so thankful to be able to be a part of this amazing atmosphere and be a part of such incredible girls' lives! They have blessed me in so many ways and I am so grateful for them! I appreciate all their hard work towards my classes and to me as a teacher! I love them so much and I cannot wait to continue my journey as a teacher! So many experiences are ahead and I cannot wait to be a part of them!:)

How is everyone's Wednesday going? I hope great for each of you! Well all I can say is that I am anxious for Friday to come! Know why? Because I get to go home for Thanksgiving! I am so excited to go home because I miss my family a lot! My sister and I have already planned some good sister time and I cannot wait to spend the whole nine days with her! We are going to our sister spot; Subway! And we are going to go see lots of movies and just spend as much time together as we can! I am also so excited to see one of my best friends Melanie! She is absolutely fantastic in every way and I am so thrilled to see her again! It also means that I get to spend time with my moms family which rarely happens since we all have such busy lives and most of them live in Shelley! We are having Thanksgiving with them which is very exciting! I haven't seen them in a long time and it will be so great being able to see them and talk to them about their recent adventures! I love Thanksgiving so much! It is definitely a time of year that I can look at everything I have been given and all the blessings I have received in the last year (which is a lot)! I love seeing my whole family come together with smiles and lots of laughter towards each other! I cannot wait to see everyone! Sadly my older sister and brother won't be there which is so disappointing, but what can they do when they live in Nebraska and Colorado! I miss them so much and I want them to know I love them! It will still be a good holiday spent with lots of people that I love with the deepest core of my heart!:)
Today I will say I am thankful for the scriptures! Ever since I moved out and haved started attending church without my parents making me go! I have realized how much the church and especially the scriptures mean to me! I made it a goal for me to read the scriptures this year and I cannot tell you how much it has blessed my life! Every single question that I have; the scriptures will always provide an answer or at least a way to find out the answer! I am so grateful for that! I now know how important it is for me to read the scriptures and I will strive to continue reading them every day! They really are true words from prophets and of course our Savior Jesus Christ! They speak of true gospels and principles and ways to live our lives in righteous ways! I am so appreciative of this knowledge! I am so happy to know that I have a testimony just from reading my scriptures! I hope it continues to grow as I continue my journey with reading my scriptures!

I hope everyone had an awesome Friday and hopefully it will continue into the weekend! I cannot believe it is the weekend already! I swear yesterday was Monday and now its the weekend! Time definitely flies by! Well I hope everyone has an amazing weekend
Well today I am grateful for the brave and courageous people fighting and those that have fought for our great nation! It is absolutely mind blowing to me at how many people are willing to give their lives to save me! It is incredible and beautiful in every way! I say beautiful because of the unselfish behavior they show towards the world! I wish everyone was like that! Life would be so much more peaceful and we wouldn't be involved in unnecessary wars! The soldiers of this country are truly amazing people! They have so much love and humility for this nation that they will do anything to prevent turmoil! I honestly could not do it! That's why I just stick to dancing and I just do my part in praying for the soldiers each night and morning! The soldiers are always in my prayers! They deserve every blessing in the world along with every pray and ounce of support from all of us! They are giving their lives to keep us safe and so I truly believe it is our duty to do a little bit of service by praying for them! I am so grateful to have these amazing and outstanding people in my life! I know some people who have fought in the war and I am so grateful to have known them! They are amazing people that are such examples to me! They are my inspiration in every way and I look up to them for guidance and knowledge! They are so trustworthy and I appreciate them so much! They are my 100% of love and support! I could not ask for better idols to follow! Happy Veterans Day everyone! Remember to pray for these amazing people and always keep them in your prayers! They not only deserve it, but they need it everyday! Have an amazing weekend everyone!

Today is beautiful outside! Even though it is cold; the mountains, the air, and the leaves are beautiful to witness right now! I absolutely love fall! It is a little sad and upsetting though because fall doesn't really exist in Utah or Idaho! We get fall for maybe a month and then winter takes over! So I better enjoy while I can!
So Thriller ended a few weeks ago and now we have a little break until we start rehearsals again! I cannot wait to get back to the studio because not only do I miss the one thing I love doing, but I miss my ODT family! We got so close during Thriller and I almost feel empty without seeing my family everyday! I miss seeing their beautiful talents and sincere faces! I cannot wait to see them again! Thriller was absolutely amazing in every way! It was everything I hoped for and more! It was by far the best experienced I have been a part of so far! The audiences and excitements of being on stage are unbelievable and I cannot even describe it in words! I am so excited that I get to continue on with my training as a professional! I have so much more to learn and I am surrounded by the some of the most perfect people to learn from! My journey forward as an artist has just begun! Yay!
I went home for a few days to spend time with my family! It was very relaxing and fun to see my family and be back home! I love my family more than anything in the world! They are the greatest examples to me and I am so grateful to have them in my life! They all have the sweetest spirits and outrageous personalities! We are a crazy family, but I wouldn't change them for anything else in the world! I loved spending time with them! I got some pretty crazy, fantastic, siblings and parents! I am so blessed!
So I decided that this month I was going to write down each day something I am thankful for especially with the Thanksgiving holidays coming up! So today I will say I am grateful for my family! And not just my mediate family, but my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins as well! I have a crazy family! I don't have a huge family, but its big enough for me! My family is very supportive of each other! We make frequent calls to one another and it makes me smile constantly! I could not ask for a better support system! Sometimes we may have a fight or two, but honestly what family doesn't! We forgive each other the next day and we love each other once again! My family is absolutely amazing! I know that everyone says this about their family, but I honestly believe I have the best family in the world! I definitely miss them being in my life 24/7, but they are here in spirit for sure! I am so thankful for them! I love my family and always will!

Wow it definitely has been a long journey! Thriller shows have been absolutely fantastic and I am so sad we only have a few shows left! It has gone by so fast! I have enjoyed every single minute and I am so grateful to be a part of something so special! The audiences have been amazing and so full of energy every night and it just makes the shows all the more better! My body hurts, but I do not regret anything! I feel sore, pain, and tiredness, but it has been such a great experience! I could not ask for a better atmosphere and especially the people involved! The Salt Lake cast is amazing and I feel so honored to be a part of the group! Everyone has made a great impression on my life and that is what I would like to do right now!
Eldon: You are such an inspiration to me! Your classes push me every day and you have such great advice that has made me grow as an artist! I am so grateful for your guidance and love for not only me, but the SLC cast! Thank you!

Hello everyone I hope that you all had a good Friday! I did! I had a long and awesome rehearsal today which was awesome! We ran the whole show today and can I tell you it is definitely a stamina builder! I was exhausted, but I am loving it! I am so excited/nervous because we open our first show next Friday! AHH! Time has flown by soo incredibly fast and it is approaching fast! I am so anxious to get onto that stage! I have wanted to do this since I was 10 and my dream is finally coming true! I cannot believe it! I hope you all have your tickets because it is a show not worth missing! You will regret not coming! I promise you that! I am so excited to see my mom and sister next week! They are coming to the show and I cannot wait for them to see it! I miss them both so much and I cannot wait to see them! Next week is definitely a week I am looking forward to!
Also I dont know about you all, but I am super excited about General Conference this weekend! It is something that I look forward to every October and April! I have made a goal to watch both sessions on Saturday and Sunday! I am going to do it this year! I promise you that! I hope everyone is as excited about conference as I am! I love the general authorities! They have so much to offer us! They always answer my questions I have and they have the best advice anyone could ask for! (I think)!

Hello everyone!! I hope everyone has had a great couple of weeks! I thought I would be better at this whole blogging thing, but turns out I am terrible! Everything has been so crazy wit rehearsals and teaching and its just been insane for me! In a good way of course, but for sure craziness going on! Well the Tour Cast has officially left for Park City and now it is just the SLC cast at the studio for the next week and a half! The Tour Cast starts their first show this Friday and the SLC cast starts their first show next Friday! I cannot believe that it is already here! It seems like yesterday that I was reading my email saying that I had been accepted into the company! I cannot believe how fast time has flown! We have had some crazy moments at the studio and I have loved every minute of it! Getting to know everyone has been such a remarkable experience! I love every single person and everyone has such a unique personality! They all shine in their own way and they are all soooooo talented and incredible to watch dance! I have tried over the last couple weeks to take a little something from each person and apply it to my own dancing! By doing so, it has made me become a stronger dancer and I could not ask for such better inspiration! Thank you for all you do people of ODT! You truly have made me such a better dancer and person and I appreciate it with a sincere heart! I know you will all do fantastic on Tour and I cannot wait to hear about your guys crazy adventures! Both onstage and off!:) Best of Luck
Well life has been one crazy rollercoaster so far! Rehearsals are insane, tiring, and intense, but absolutely rewarding and amazing at the same time! I love being able to go to work everyday!:) I love my job! Being able to do what I love every single day makes me smile from cheek to cheek! I cannot believe this could be happening to me! I am still having a hard time comprehending it sometimes! (As you can see)! Well teaching has also been amazing! I have been subbing for a ballet class at Center Stage along with my other teaching job at The Pointe and the little girls are absolutely adorable! It has definitely been a challenge teaching ballet to 6-year-olds because they have ADD extremely bad, but it has been such a blast! They work so hard and they just love dancing! It makes me feel so blessed to be able to be a part of their learning experience as they grow older and become better dancers! I have realized through teaching this class that teaching is a lot harder than I ever expected! It is fun, but sometimes it can be very stressful! I am so grateful for it though! It only makes me become a better dancer! With time I hope to one day become an amazing teacher:) I have a lot to learn still, but I am making progress each day!
I have also started my Young Adult Singles Ward and I absolutely love it! It is definitely different from being at a home ward, but it is such a blast! Everyone is close to my age and everyone is so nice and welcoming! I have an amazing bishopric and I am so glad to be in the ward I am! I am such a fun Family Home Evening group and I actually like going to FHE!(Since I never did it at home- sorry mom and dad, but its true)! We have so many fun activities to do each week and everyone gets involved! I meet new people each time I go which means more friends!:) I am loving it! More experiences to come hopefully!

How was everyones Friday!? I hope it was all fabulous and I hope everyone has plans for either tonight or tomorrow! Today was a stressful day because we finally finished Dem Bones and River! The two dances that are causing me to learn more about how badly I suck at tap! They are fun, but hard and messing my brain up! I cannot wait to do them on stage though! It is going to be a blast along with every other dance I am doing! This week has definitely been a hard week, but it has been full of fun and everlasting experiences!! Ahh it is amazing everyone! I will keep saying this forever and ever that I am so blessed and so lucky to be a part of something so incredible!!
So I decided that I would share with you all how grateful I am for everything I have been given because I feel it is the perfect time to do so!!
1. Family- It is completely obvious and everyone knows it, but I know I must express to my family how much I love them and appreciate all they have done for me!! I cannot tell you how much I love my family! We are crazy and weird, but I would not switch them for anything in the world!
2. Talent- Of course this is another obvious one, but again I feel I must express my appreciation for it! Without dance I don't know where I would be! It has always been a big part of my life and it always will be whether I teach or dance! I cannot thank my Heavenly Father enough for it!
3. Gospel- The gospel is so important to me! It has helped me in becoming who I am and it has made me realize my standards and how I want to live my life! The gospel makes me strong in tough times and it will always be there for me!
4. Friends- I have the fortunate blessing of being surrounded by so many amazing people! They all have unique personalities and they make my life so exciting and full! They all have taught me so much and I hope to continue to learn from them as I get older! They are such great aspects to me!
5. Health- I feel so blessed to have a healthy lifestyle! I try my best to eat healthy everyday and it has helped me stay energized and happy! I feel better if I eat healthy and it makes me feel so good about myself! I hope everyone will strive to live healthy lives! I promise it will changes yours forever!

Hello Everyone!:
I hope all of you have had an amazing Thursday! I know I have! I am extremely sore and my body hurts a great amount, but I am loving every minute of Thriller! It has been very hard so far, but totally worth it! There is a huge amount of choreography to be learned in a certain amount of time and it is hard to remember it all! I am doing my best though and I guess that is all you can do in this life right?:) It has definitely been a journey so far! It is only the fourth day of rehearsal and I already feel like I am growing so much! I have been asked to do things that have been out of my comfort zone and it has made me realize there is a lot more to dance then just technique! It is an experience I will never forget! Once again I had rehearsal from 8-3 today and it was a whirlwind of brain frying and stress levels going through the roof! I had to learn River today which is a tap number and can I tell you tap is SO NOT my thing! I do not like tap, never have, and probably never will, but it is what needs to be done! It is fast and hard and clean and precise! I definitely have a lot of practice to do with this number! It will be a fun number though! I have never done an actual tap number before and so this will definitely be something to look forward to! I cannot wait to step onto that stage!
Well I taught my classes for the first time this week and let me tell you I had a blast! I feel so blessed that I get to go to work and teach amazing girls that want to work hard and become better dancers! I am so excited to see them grow! It makes my feel goods very happy:)! Hello everyone!
I am so sorry about the absence! Life has just been constantly going in circles for me and I honestly just have not had the time to sit down and write down everything that has been happening!
Well to start out with I have recently begun my long and body working rehearsals of Thriller! I cannot tell you how excited I am and how blessed I feel right now! We just finished our third day of rehearsals and my brain already feels like its turning into gooo (literally)! The dances are so physical and precise and with me being a perfectionist I am stressing out about getting it right the first time! At least I have the weekend to get it!:) Being on a company is crazy and its all about moving forward and not looking back! You have to take in a lot at one time and you have to be able to remember it exactly! It is hard, but totally worth the extra hour of practice before I go to bed every night! I finally get to do the dance I have wanted to do since I first saw it back home when I was ten and that is the main number THRILLER!!! It is to the famous song by Michael Jackson and it is everything I have dreamed of doing! My adrenaline kicks in as soon as the music begins and my inner zombie emerges (I am still working on the zombie image fyi)! The dance is so fun and intense and exciting to do and watch! I feel so blessed to be a part of such an amazing company!
Now the cast members are unbelievable! Everyone is so nice and we all get along so well! We come to rehearsal and we are all so sore and so happy to be there:) I can't wait to get to know everyone and I cant wait to continue to grow in my dancing by watching and taking in what my fellow dancers all have to offer! Each person is unique and amazing in their own way and I feel so blessed to actually say I am a part of it! I am probably the youngest one on the company (if not the youngest, I am definitely in the youngest group) and I feel so blessed and so grateful to have such amazing and outstanding people and dancers to look up to! I cannot wait to continue my journey in my dancing career!
The shows officially start the 8th of October! I am on the SLC/Odgen cast and I am so excited to start shows! Make sure you buy your tickets asap from Odyssey website! It is definitely a production you do not want to even think about missing!
Well it has been really crazy these last couple of weeks, but I have finally moved down to my new home in Utah! I am living with my aunt Nancy and she is the bomb.com! I am so grateful that she took me in because I don't know what I would be doing right now! She is such an amazing aunt and I love her so much! Thank you aunt Nancy for taking care of me! I love you and couldn't ask for a better aunt! I have also recently started teaching some classes a couple days a week and I am in love! I love the fact that I can say, "I love my job!" Teaching and dancing are the best things in the world! My girls are already fantastic and I cannot wait for this year! They are so amazing already and I am so stoked to have the opportunity to share my knowledge with them and hopefully I can also take away some techniques from them! Like I always say, "The teacher always ends up learning more than the students!" I am so excited to continue to teach and grow as a teacher and hopefully eventually get into some personal choreography! I want to expand my teaching and I know that dream will be fulfilled this year! Thank you to my classes already! I am so excited to teach you this year!

So today the USANA convention in Salt Lake City began, which meant it was my first performaces of the three day convention! It was fun and exciting and the 4,000 people in the arena were on their feet dancing along with us! It definitely put a smile on my face to see so many people stand up and clap their hands! Well I don't have any performaces tomorrow, but I do perform my other three numbers on Saturday, which is the last day of the convention! It has been fun, but I am ready to go home for a week! I miss my family and the most exciting news ever; my littler sister Kassidy has returned home from Omaha! I miss you so much and I haven't seen her since the end of May! I honestly did not realize how much I missed her until I constantly heard nothing around our house! It felt weird and uncomfortable! I needed to hear Kassidy's voice! I am so excited to see her and my parents! I will definitely be hanging out with them as much as I can before I move down to Utah! These next three days are going to go by kind of slow for me, but that is alright! I love Utah still!
Well I did a new workout last night! I am sure most of you know this workout! INSANITY! And let me tell you, it was insane! The workout was so hard and tiring that I had to take a few breaths just to catch my own! It was a plyometric workout and my goodness it hurt! It hurt, but was totally worth it! I watch to get the pack myself because every workout is EXTREME TO THE MAX! I loved every minute of it! Definitely a serious sweat sesh! I am excited to do another one tonight! I have to thank my dear friend Kaitlyn for letting me borrow this awesome workout! It pushed me FARRR!

So today as I was heading home from rehearsal, I had some time to myself to think about everything that's happening to me! The one thing that I kept coming back to is how important my family is to me! I honestly don't know what I would do without them! The realization of me leaving home finally kicked me and I realized how much I am going to miss my family when I leave home! They have been behind me every step in my life and now that I have to go out on my own scares me quite a bit! I know they will always be there to help me, but it is definitely not the same when they aren't there 24/7! I love them so much and could not ask for anything better! I think I am especially going to miss my little sister! Kassidy is a crack up to me and everyone around her! Even though I am mean to her, I still love her millions! I now regret it and I hope that she will forgive me in the future! She has always been my little nut and I could not ask for a better sister! My parents are so important to me! They have truly taught me the importance of life and how I should live it if I want to achieve happiness! They are my center and stability and I am so grateful for them! I am so grateful to have them in my life and I will miss them so much! I can not believe they are not going to be with me everyday! It feels weird, but rewarding at the same time! I feel ready to continue my journey because my family has provided me with love, guidance, and protection! I feel so lucky to be a part of the family I have! Who could ask for a better family!:)

Hello my fellow bloggers! So here is an update! I am currently in Utah doing a show with Odyssey called USANA! I have done it for the past three summers and we are basically entertainment for a big nutrition convention in Salt Lake City at the Energy Solutions Arena! It has been fun, exciting, and brain frying since I have to learn a few numbers in one week! We have our performances this next week and then I return home next Sunday to spend one last week with family and friends before I begin my new life and journey in Utah! I am excited/scared/nervous to begin, but I cannot wait to start rehearsals for Thriller (Odyssey's big fall production)! You don't want to miss this! It will be a fantastic show! Well I have also had the opportunity to attend some dance shows this week! Tuesday I attended SoulEscape; a company directed by the amazing Justin Giles! It was unbelievable! It literally took my breath away to watch Justin's amazing choreography and creativity! I was so inspired by this unique movement! The smooth and fluidity was incredible to watch! The creativity in bringing music, dance, and art together was ingenius by Justin! Definitely a highlight of my week! I also attended a show on Friday night called Dancing Under The Stars! It consisted of dances from fellow stars from: So You Think You Can Dance, Odyssey, Glee, and many others! It was a night of passion for dance! I felt so honored to know some of the talented dancers that participated in this event! I was so blown away by the amazing talent I saw! The shows made my week so much more exciting! If you live in Utah I highly suggest you attend Dancing Under The Stars next summer! It is an event worth seeing (whether your a dancer or not)!
Anyway rehearsals start the 5th of September! I am so excited to begin my new life! I have wanted this since I was twelve and I cannot believe its finally happening! I also start teaching on the 6th of September! Right now I have three classes on Tuesdays that I will be teaching! An elementary jazz, intermediate hip hop, and intermediate jazz! I am so excited to begin teaching! I absolutely love teaching and love being with students! I cannot wait! Hopefully I will be teaching more classes in the future! It will just probably take some time! I will be busy thats for sure, but I like being busy rather than sitting at home! It keeps me in a sane mind:) Everything is happening and I am so happy with the direction my life is going! It will be hard and rough, but I am so ready! Well more blogs to come in the future! Hello friends...Sorry I have not blogged in a few days! Things have been crazy and my life is going into circles right now! Everything that I have worked so hard for is finally working out and my hard work is paying off! It is almost realistic to me and I am still having a hard time comprehending it all! I recently auditioned for a company in Utah that I have wanted to dance with since I was twelve....Well come Sunday evening I was getting ready for bed when I decided to check my e-mail! Little did I know that I was going to hear from the director so soon, I was expecting to receive nothing, but was I wrong! I had received an e-mail saying that I had made Odyssey Dance Theater and rehearsals start September 5th! Boy was I excited! My aunt and I jumped up and down forever it seemed like! I instantly called everyone in my family telling them the exciting news! I feel so blessed right now and I feel as if everything is working out! My whole childhood has been about auditioning for Odyssey as soon as I graduated high school! It was a stressful time, but that e-mail cleared everything up! I feel so honored to have the opportunity to dance with so many talented dancers! They are so inspirational and I am so blessed to be a part of it! I am so excited for the season to begin! I am so excited to begin my new job! I feel so blessed to be able to go to work everyday and do what I love!
Teaching is also a big part of my life! I have only done it for two years, but I am so inspired and I am so excited to continue to grow and become a better teacher and (hopefully) eventually a choreographer! I want to be able to share my love for dance through teaching and helping other young dancers become the best they can be! I am so inspired by young, strong, and determined dancers! It makes me so happy and feel so blessed! Hopefully along with dancing with Odyssey, teaching will be a part of my upcoming busy future! I want to teach and choreograph so much and I am ready to get out there and share my joy and love for dance! I know I still have a lot to learn, but I am ready to begin! I am determined and I will not give up! It made be hard some days, but that is what my Father in Heaven is for! He has blessed me so much in my life and has recently blessed me in the past couple weeks! He has given me this talent that I would not change for anything and I am grateful! He will always be there for me when I need some lifting up and I am so appreciative of that! I cannot wait to begin this new journey!
So as most of you know, I am insane when it comes to fitness! With being built more muscular and having bulkier legs it has always been hard for me to feel good about myself not only in the dance world, but also just in general! I have always wanted the really skinny legs, but with genetics that just didn't happen with me! As I continue my journey of losing weight, I felt it was necessary for me to get a personal trainer! It definitely has been worth the money and he has taught me a lot of things that I did not know even with the unlimited amount of research I have done! Fitness and nutrition are things that I want to continue to learn about because I want to hopefully one day have a career in the health department! Fitness has made me realize how much food can bring someone down to their worst self! It is so easy to turn to that big tub of ice cream when you are feeling down and you don't realize just how badly you are affecting your body with empty calories and non-nutrient waste! I learned it is good to have a treat once in a while, but take the treat in moderation; don't make it an everyday thing! I also learned something interesting! I always thought it was about exercise, but boy was I wrong:) The key to health is 20% exercise and 80% nutrition! Its all about what goes into your body! So PLEASE take care of your body! It definitely took me a long time to realize what I needed to do in order to keep myself healthy! I have learned that I can make myself look my personal best without having the constant feeling of, "I will never be that skinny," or "I hate the way my body looks." I'm still in the process of learning to love my body, but it will take some time for sure:)
This weight loss journey is taking a long time to fulfill, but I know it will be worth it in the end. I work with my personal trainer three days a week and he kills me every time. I love going to the gym and having the feeling of satisfaction and of course that skinny self feeling! It not only helps me in my weight loss process, but the gym gives me time to think! It is my time that I give to myself everyday and I always look forward to it! I also recently started a meal replacement shake called Isagenix that I have recently fell in love with! Each shake gives me my full amount of minerals and nutrients and best of all, it's satisfying and delicious! I can have one shake and feel full until the next meal! I eat two shakes a day and have one meal! The shake gives me loads of energy along with my nutrients and minerals! My cousin told me about it and after knowing he lost 25 pounds, I instantly jumped at trying it! The shake is simple; I add:
2 scoops of Isagenix Vanilla mix (I like Vanilla and 2 scoops equals one serving)
1/2 cup of water
1/2 frozen fruit (I have tried Raspberries, Blueberries, and Strawberries so far; each are delicious)
Ice cubes (depending on how thick you want your shake determines how many ice cubes! I love mine Frosty style so I add about 7-8 ice cubes)
Its simple and easy and delicious! It has made me feel so good and so full and I love it! I want you all to tell yourselves right now that you all can live healthy lives! We don't have to deprive ourselves of the foods we love! We can still eat them, just more wisely! Everyone should love their bodies and how they feel! It is so important to love your bodies! You should have the confidence to take each day with determination and not let anyone or anything get in your way! Tell yourself right now you love your body and that you will always love your body! I absolutely love Sundays! It's a day that I can relax and enjoy myself! Our lives get so crazy and busy during the week that we forget how important it is to relax! We are constantly going and going and going and it sometimes makes us a bit crazy (I know because I am one of those people)! This is where Sunday comes into play! It gives me a chance to stand back and calm myself from the outside world! A typical consists of going to church and then relaxing at home and maybe watching a movie or reading a book! It makes me feel calm and I feel like I can breathe again! Make sure you take time to relax on Sunday and remember what's really important in life! It doesn't matter what's going to happen in the next 24 hours! What matters is living the moment with family and friends and enjoying the beauties of life!:) Have a GR8T Sunday!!!:)
Hello my fellow bloggers! I decided to give this whole blog a try because a few friends of mine have done it and it seems like something I would enjoy doing! So here goes nothing:)
Well I have officially graduated high school and now just enjoying my (shall we say) "last" summer before I have to grow up and become an adult! I am trying to relax and enjoy the summer sun because I know the coming months are going to be busy and I don't want to miss out on my "senior summer!" New adventures are in store for me as I prepare to move to Utah in the fall! I will say that I am very scared about moving on because my parents have always been by my side, but I know everything will work out! New exciting things are happening and I am ready to take them on full charge!
